After saving Draken's life, Takemichi returns to the future to find that Akkun made his dreams to become a hairstylist come true and the accident caused by Toman that killed Hina never happened. After reuniting with Naoto, he finds out that Hina is alive, and they go to see her. Right before they're supposed to see her, Takemichi starts having some doubts because he's embarrassed at the fact that he hadn't changed at all and suddenly says he doesn't want to see her. While the battle between Toman and Moebius led by their current leader, Hanma Shuji, is raging on, Draken ends up being stabbed by Kiyomasa. While they're waiting for an ambulance, Kiyomasa and his thugs get in their way. In order to protect Draken, Takemichi challenges Kiyomasa one on one to settle things with him once and for all.

Takemichi manages to defeat Kiyomasa in their one-on-one by sheer tenacity and with the help of Akkun and the others, they're able to protect Draken until they can get him to the ambulance. As he leaves, Hanma warns Mikey of the creation of Valhalla and the fact that he's the vice commander of this new gang.

But then, a rather surprising person came to Mikey's aid.
