Reborn
Hanagaki Takemichi is a worthless part-time worker who's down in the dumps. Takemichi is shocked by news that his ex-girlfriend was killed, but goes about his daily life when he is suddenly pushed onto the railroad tracks.

Takemichi manages to defeat Kiyomasa in their one-on-one by sheer tenacity and with the help of Akkun and the others, they're able to protect Draken until they can get him to the ambulance. As he leaves, Hanma warns Mikey of the creation of Valhalla and the fact that he's the vice commander of this new gang.

After saving Draken's life, Takemichi returns to the future to find that Akkun made his dreams to become a hairstylist come true and the accident caused by Toman that killed Hina never happened. After reuniting with Naoto, he finds out that Hina is alive, and they go to see her. Right before they're supposed to see her, Takemichi starts having some doubts because he's embarrassed at the fact that he hadn't changed at all and suddenly says he doesn't want to see her.

After Hinata's funeral, Takemichi tells a grieving Naoto what he plans to do next. Why did the same future happen even though Draken remained by Mikey's side?
