Taxi owner HO KAU’s goddaughter CHEUNG HIU-MAN works in the garage. She helps KAU to inspect the taxi and discovers some mechanical failures. The taxi-driver refuses to pay the repair fees and KAU decides to absorb the cost. KAU and other drivers go to Beef Ball King NGAI CHIU-FAT’s shop to eat. KAU and FAT are good friends so he asks him to be the referee of his son KA-PO for working an apprentice. KA-PO asks HIU-MAN to inflate the ties of his van. HIU-MAN warns him that the tires are very old already and accidents may occur easily. While driving with his customer KO LAI-SUM, KA-PO keeps exceeding the speed limit and running the red lights. He cannot bear to question YAT-TUNG about it… KA-PO makes use of SHUK-CHING’s secret recipe to make curry and this helps to wake HO-KAU up. While everybody celebrates at the rooftop, MEI-WAI suddenly calls YIU-TSUN to inform him that their neighbour CHIU-FAT is harassed by the loan shark.

When MEI-FUN arrives at the shop, OI-HEI reveals that the loan shark is distributing CHIU-FAT’s debt notice to all neighbours on the street. YAT-TUNG realizes that CHIU-FAT is in debt… CHIU-FAT earns a living by picking up cardboards on the street and he suffers a lot. When he returns to his cardboard house, he discovers MEI-FUN there. YAT-TUNG cheats SHAN-SHAN to eat soft drugs. KA-PO finds SHAN-SHAN talking nonsense on the phone and he rushes to the karaoke. He finds SHAN-SHAN standing at the edge of the rooftop dangerously so he asks CHIU-FAT and MEI-FUN to come… SHUK-CHING finally discovers that LAI-SUM and KA-PO are dating. YIU-TSUN is notified by the Philippines government to visit MEI-WAI who just recovers after being unconscious for some time…

OI-HEI reveals to HIU-MAN that she has no choice but to sell the house so as to raise money for HIU-MING but HIU-MING disappeared after getting the money. OI-HEI and HIU-MAN discover that HIU-CHING is not going to school so they go to the karaoke to look for her… YAT-TUNG and HIU-CHING quarrel with each other on the street. HIU-CHING wants to tell everybody that YAT-TUNG has killed somebody and YAT-TUNG wants to stop it by killing her. Luckily, HO-KAU and HIU-MAN arrive on time. LAI-SUM is going to leave Hong Kong. HIU-MAN reveals to KA-PO that she has already regained her memory but she didn’t tell him about it for she wants to get close to him.
