Taxi owner HO KAU’s goddaughter CHEUNG HIU-MAN works in the garage. She helps KAU to inspect the taxi and discovers some mechanical failures. The taxi-driver refuses to pay the repair fees and KAU decides to absorb the cost. KAU and other drivers go to Beef Ball King NGAI CHIU-FAT’s shop to eat. KAU and FAT are good friends so he asks him to be the referee of his son KA-PO for working an apprentice. KA-PO asks HIU-MAN to inflate the ties of his van. HIU-MAN warns him that the tires are very old already and accidents may occur easily. While driving with his customer KO LAI-SUM, KA-PO keeps exceeding the speed limit and running the red lights.
