Preston is house sitting for his uncle in NYC and his investigative mind starts to wander when he notices some suspicious activity in the office building across the street. Meanwhile, Amanda works on a high-profile check-washing scam in the Big Apple.

When Veronica's grandmother becomes a victim of a foreign lottery scam, the inspectors step in to help, but Veronica worries that her family may be facing another challenge when her grandmother continues to believe that big winnings are on the way.
