Bird is unhappy with her new neighbor Kip, who is noisy and keeps dropping acorns. To get some peace, Bird goes to the beach, where she enjoys the sand, water, and a snack. Suddenly, she spots a large hawk in the sky and hides in fear. After the hawk leaves, Bird flies home and tells Kip about the hawk. Kip is also scared and asks if it will come to their tree.
