Kay sues Andy, and Andy’s rich father hires Dennis to represent his son in court. Meanwhile, Nisa’s plan to buy a condo to surprise her parents is thwarted when her brother, Razak, goes to her for money to save his ailing cafe. Gaik Kim, along with several of her senior citizen friends, loses their life savings when the trust fund they invested in goes bust in the wake of the global financial meltdown.
