Sara begs him not to drive in those conditions, but in vain.

Simone and Sara, after going off-road, wake up in the hospital. His parents and friends are all at Simone's bedside, but he realizes he can't move his legs. A homeless man, Ernesto, tries to make them stop and puts one of his poems in Giuliana's bag, pretending it is Franz's. When he reads it on the radio, he is so successful that he has to ask Ernesto to write more.
