Sara begs him not to drive in those conditions, but in vain.

A homeless man, Ernesto, tries to make them stop and puts one of his poems in Giuliana's bag, pretending it is Franz's. When he reads it on the radio, he is so successful that he has to ask Ernesto to write more.
