Dolphins of Indian River Lagoon

Jeff joins scientists and volunteers from Harbor Branch at Florida Atlantic University's Health and Environmental Risk Assessment team to study Atlantic bottlenose dolphin health in Florida's Indian River Lagoon and uncover why these animals are the sentinels for the entire ecosystem. In the process Jeff helps researchers carefully locate and lift dolphins out of the water and onto a research boat for observation and assessment!

Jeff teams up with the Alaska SeaLife Center to uncover the reasons behind the decline of some Steller sea lion populations.
