Two kids are lost in the woods. They meet Winnie at her house and pretend to be Hansel and Gretel. Without Winnie's permission, the kids take off on Winnie's broom and eventually land back in their own yard. When they tell their mother what happened, she doesn't believe them. When they try to prove their adventure by showing their mother the broom, it's gone. Winnie had retrieved it. The mother punishes the kids for telling fibs. The men return and before taking her leave, Winnie sends a stagecoach full of women to the town.
