A small toen doctor is called to New York to accept an award as the outstanding country doctor of the year. He leaves his home in Bowlegs, Okla., with his wife to visit the big city for the first time. The day before the dinner at which the citation is to be presented, he spends many hours practicing on an imposing speech written for him by a local professor.
