Dr. Kaburagi insists on performing laparotomy which would leave a scar on her body. Amakasu feels hopeless because she lacks experience in the treatment and has to give in to Dr. Kaburagi's decision. When another patient is admitted into the hospital and requires the same treatment, the radiology team teams up with Amakasu and performs the impossible. Igarashi often gets fired because he doesn't seem to understand people's feelings. This brings him to work in a new hospital, Amakasu General Hospital. He meets Mr. Kikujima, a world renowned photographer, and tries to find the cause for his severe headaches when everyone else believes it's the rupture of an aneurysm. He also meets his childhood friend, Amakasu An who stood up for him when he was bullied during his childhood.
